The Challenge
Property seekers in the region were spending 4–6 weeks visiting listings in person, many of which looked nothing like the photos. The client needed to drastically reduce wasted site visits and increase buyer confidence before the first physical viewing.
Our Approach
- User Research & Maps — Shadowed 8 property agents and interviewed 20 buyers to map the real pain in the search journey. The AR idea emerged from a buyer session — not the client brief.
- AR Prototype Sprint — Three-week focused sprint on the AR room preview feature — the highest-risk, highest-value piece. Validated with 15 real estate agents before committing to full development.
- Cross-Platform Build — Single Flutter codebase for iOS and Android, with platform-specific AR implementations (ARKit/ARCore). Beta launched to 200 users three weeks before the public release.

- Saved Search Alerts — Smart notifications when a new listing matches saved criteria, with price-drop alerts and availability windows.
